Keith Deschambeault

Keith Deschambeault established Acadian Seaplanes in 2009 to fill a much needed void in air transportation in the Western mountains of Maine. Keith is an entrepreneur and experienced pilot with 10,000+ hours on wheels, floats and amphibians. He’s operated various helicopters, Dehavilland Beaver, Cessna 180, 185, 206, 208 Caravan and Quest Kodiak aircraft and is type rated in Dassault Falcon Jets. His flying career has taken him to the Wilderness of Alaska, the Caribbean and Northeastern US with extensive experience operating in the NYC area. He has 20+ years of experience in the Aviation industry and holds a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Chris Hand

Chris Hand comes with a 30 year history in business aviation. From his 15,000 hours of flight experience and years spent as a senior leader, he is first and foremost excited for opportunities to mentor colleagues and aspiring aviators. Chris is experienced and type rated in Hawker, Falcon, Bombardier Global series, and the Gulfstream 650. He has served in all aspects of part 135 for most of his career having been a President and Director of Operations while remaining qualified as a Captain and check airman. Amphibious aircraft operations are a primary passion for Chris and growing this segment of the industry has long been a focus. Chris is a graduate of UND Aerospace at the University of North Dakota. In his spare time, Chris volunteers within numerous organizations that promote and provide opportunity to youth in aviation. He is an active FAA Designated pilot examiner focused on multi engine and Seaplane certification.
