Highborne Cay is a privately-owned island in the northern Exuma Cays of the Bahamas, about 35 miles southeast of Nassau. It is known as a luxury gateway to the Exumas with eight pristine beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and upscale marina amenities. The island has recently announced a $20 million marina redevelopment and new luxury estates focused on preserving its natural landscape and coral reefs. The area offers snorkeling at the Octopus Garden reef and blue holes, hiking to lookout points, and access to protected mangrove and seagrass habitats documented by Bahamian naturalist Elijah Sands
